Staff Reporter: – With the slogan “Plant more trees, save the environment,” the Bangladesh National Human Rights Association, Bogura District Committee, organized a month-long tree plantation program in various educational institutions. As part of this initiative, a medicinal tree plantation program was held today, Monday (15 September), at the Government Institute of Health Technology (IHT), Bogura.
On behalf of IHT, the event was attended by Lecturer Dr. Abu Md. Yusuf Hasan (Mamun), General Secretary of Bogura Dental Society; Lecturer Dr. Md. Tarek-Al-Zobayer (Tuhin), Office Secretary of Bogura Dental Society; Head of Laboratory Medicine Department Dr. Nahida Sultana; and In-Charge Md. Shahjahan Ali.
From the Bangladesh National Human Rights Association, Bogura District Committee, the attendees included President Medical Technologist Md. Arman Hossain Dollar; Vice Presidents Md. Jahangir Sarkar (Manik) and Md. Arman Sheikh; General Secretary Md. Zahidul Islam (Jahid); Senior Joint Secretary Dr. A. S. M. Raihan; Organizational Secretary Md. Sabbir Hossain (Chabdul); Office Secretary Md. Delwar Hossain; Health Affairs Secretary Md. Abdur Rashid; and Freedom Fighter Affairs Secretary Md. Fazlu Sakidar, among others.
In addition, student representatives of the institution including Siam, Ashiq, Sajib, Rifat, Ratul, Rumi, and Saurav, along with many others, actively participated in the tree plantation program.
